Cute little balding man with absolutely no teaching abilities.I learned nothing in his class except...that he used to box...chocolates. Not funny after the hundreth time. Thanks for nothing Al. Because of him I dropped my Spanish minor.

Albores was a very good teacher. You may not learn as much from him but at least you have a good time in his class. A cute little old guy with funny grandpa stories. Too bad he is retiring because he is one of the nicest teachers in the department.

Useless teacher. Never remembered what class was doing what so we always repeated stuff. Learned little spanish cause he was too busy talking about how he boxed...chocolates. Not so funny after hearing it fifty times. Boring and useless I say. Stay away.

Profesor Albores was the first Spanish professor I had at NIU. He's so cute (in that little old grandpa that looks like Papa Smurf way). The quizes he gave totally prepared me for the midterms! El es el mejor profesor de espanol!

So far, I have learned a great deal about spanish. I think anyone can learn spanish from this guy if they put a little effort in. This is a beggining class, so your not going to learn everything about the language, but you will get a good start.

Yes, it's cute that you used to box...chocolates. Unfortunately, I failed to learn in this class and was left unknowingly unprepared for future spanish classes and ultimately abandoned a Spanish minor.
