Comment:

I had Dr. Frankel for Social Psych and Psychology of Prejudice. His syllabus is very clear on what is being discussed in class as well as directions for assignments. For PSY250, read the text because things from it show up on the exams. PSY255 is discussions and paper based. Also gives a lot of extra credit. He is super nice and very understanding

Probably my favorite professor at Salve. Taken multiple classes with him, and always sign up when he offers something I haven't taken before. Could seem intimidating but is really not, even admitted he thinks he is softening up a bit !

Dr. Frankel is a great professor and overall person. He is super funny and truly wants his students to succeed. His tests are quite difficult and you MUST read everything in order to pass the class. Hard to catch up if you fall behind on reading, however, he is extremely helpful through email or after class! He also gives TONS of extra credit!

I've had Frankel twice. Both times, I did horrible on his tests and somehow he still passed me. He might boosts your grade at the end of the semester if you attend every class and show that you're trying to do well. Also he seems unapproachable, but if you're struggling, meet with him. He is probably the most helpful teacher I have had so far.

Dr. Frankel is really nice and wants people to do well however his class is not easy. Tests are hard dont expect A's without a lot of effort. reading quizzes on each chapter. he tears papers apart, and isn't very nice about it to spend the time revising. Lectures are a little rambley but the powerpoints are available for you to look at at any time.

Great teacher! Tests are hard especially if you dont read the text book which each chapter is about 40 pages. I loved this class is was very interesting and Dr. Franklel has a dry yet funny sense of humor! I would definitely take his class you learn so much even if the tests are hard and you dont do as well as you expected

Dr. Frankel is a great teacher who truly cares about his students. This class requires a good amount of participation (it is NOT a lecture class) so if you are shy, that may reflect in your grade. There are no tests and quizzes which is nice, there are only 4 papers. Very interesting class and I recommend it to anyone.

He's an excellent teacher! He's very reasonable. I would suggest getting the book. All his power points and study guides are all posted online, which is very helpful. Before each chapter there's a pre quiz, but don't worry about it too much, they help you in the end.

The course itself, Psychology of Prejudice, is AMAZING. Take it. You will love yourself. He generates great discussion, but as always, plays Devil's Advocate, which is fine. The course is discussion based. It's amazing. You won't get above an A- on the essays,though.

Dr.Frankel is an absolutely awesome professor. His intelligence is pretty remarkable. If you take his class you should absolutely study weekly if you want to succeed. If you are interested in actually learning and looking for a challenge, absolutely take him. He loves people who care and don't suck up to him.

Dr. Frankel is the real deal. He is much more challenging than the typical Salve professor. HE IS EXTREMELY FAIR, however. I've taken him for five classes and always learn a lot. Just be prepared to actually work like you would at a REAL college.

Frankel aint easy thats for sure. But he goes over the book with his powerpoints and adds other stuff too. I found him to be pretty funny actually. I got a c+ but probably deserved a c- so he's not out to screw you and oh yeah, I learned alot of psychology even though I didn't get good grades on the tests. I should have read the book more.

Frankel is tough compared to other instructors. I get Bs with him and As and A-s with others. His tests are hard but he is more fair than anybody and he always has helped me (email, in his office) as soon as I ask him something. I'd rather have him than someone who gives everybody an A.

In high school I enjoyed taking psych and excelled in it. After taking this class I was driven away from it. Never have I felt that a teacher was not interested in teaching a class until now. Attendance should be optional because the material talked about in class is straight out of the textbook.

I took introduction to psychology with him. He is a fantastic professor who clearly is very passionate about the subject, but he also explains it simply enough for everyone to understand. His exams are very fair and he is a fair grader. He seems intense and strict but just attend class and put effort in and you'll get at least a B.

He is a good teacher. I liked him a lot. You could tell this was something he is passionate about. He wasn't super easy or super hard. He was fair. Sure, it was a little boring, but its a 100 level course, its bound to be. He tries to keep the students engaged and grades on much more than just the tests. One of my favorite professors here.
