This teacher retired in 2005. He was an execellent math teacher. Very rational, sarcastic and helpful. Contantly encouraged students to ask questions during the lecture. Had a great sense of humor and gave review sessions before exams. There were too many great qualities about him. Too bad he is not teaching anymore.

Whoever took this class and thought he was a good professor must have taken him when he REMEMBERED how to teach. I am taking him now and it is painful, he forgets what he is doing mid-problem and always goes back and corrects everything b/c he makes so many mistakes. He is the WORST math teacher i have ever had!!!

He's a pretty good professor. He reminds you of a high school teacher. Explains things thoroughly and until you understand. Likes to joke around. If you pay attention and go to class, it'll be ok. But don't expect it to be fun, gets kind of boring. And he doesn't give extra credits or curves.

He is an excellent professor. His presentation of the subject matter is very clear and well summarized. Fast at times and gives a lot of HW. Be sure to have the time to do some HW on the board because you will get extra credit and will help your grade jump up to one level like A- to A.

Everyone in my class complained about him. He lost track of the time and had to teach us a load of work in so little time. Maybe he had an off year because I heard nothing but good things about Goodman, but i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I got a D in the class but that's my own fault.

He is a good person but makes fun of people sometimes which is very uncool. He is an easy grader though. Homeworks are very important, putting homeworks on the board everyday is very helpful. He helps students even after class if they need additional help. He goes over all the homworks and tests.

Excellent teacher. Did fine in pre-cal, struggled in calc, but still think he's a great teacher. He'll see you're trying if you make the effort. Tests can be tricky, but at least try to keep up with the hw (put hw up on the board and get credit for it!). Sarcastic, yes, but his class is worth it!
