Gives good stories about law that helps explain each concept he teaches. Most of what is important to learn is said orally, not on ppt slides so not good for visual learners. Need to go to class and take notes. Very engaging class and the tests are challenging but reasonable. Also reviews the previous concepts at the start of the next class

This is the hardest LMU class I've taken. 40% of your grade is the midterm and 40% is the final. His tests are extremely hard and he is a tough grader. His power points and lectures are very unorganized. He is a nice guy, but this class is extremely hard. You can definitely find an easy professor for BLAW 2210. It's almost impossible to get an A.

Very passionate, amazing individual, really cares about his students. HOWEVER, class is HARD hw every class, 2 projects, 1 midterm, 1 final. The tests are crazy hard. Unorganized PowerPoints, fast speaker, tells a lot of stories which tends to confuse and sway from the main lesson. If youre ready to read, get called on, attend everyday go for it.

While his classes are interesting and you can tell that he really cares about the students and what he's teaching about, his tests are hard, and there's only one midterm which is worth a lot of your grade. He's a great person and a great teacher, but his tests are just too difficult.

Pretty decent professor. He really cares about his students, but the class itself is difficult. The lectures get confusing and you have to make sure you're completely focused in class or you'll just end up lost. I definitely had to put a lot of time into this class, especially since 80% of your grade consist of 2 exams, both of which are hard.

Professor Arthur is one of the best professors I've had in LMU. He is very caring and he genuinely wants to know what you are having a hard time with. He understands that BLAW in itself is a hard subject and so if you put in effort in going to his office hours and to the review classes, it's going to pay off. He is definitely worth taking for BLAW

The best professor I've ever had. I've taken him for the intro BLAW and Law, ethics, and Spirituality. He is extremely understanding and loves teaching. I've walked away from both classes a better person. I highly recommend him if you actually want to learn and are willing to apply yourself. Easy B for sure & nearly impossible to fail. Great guy!

Arthur is literally such an awesome person and makes his students better people. However, if you miss class a few times you'll really miss out on a lot. He also is very disorganized and it's often hard to find out when things are due, etc.

Best professor I have had at LMU. He loves his job and loves giving good grades, but you have to earn them. Very interactive and inspirational. He gives a small amount of homework and tests are reasonable. Overall he is a very accomplished and diverse person, I would love take any other course that he offers.

He wants you to call him Arthur and wants you to be buddy buddy. The class was pretty easy but his grading makes no sense. For my class, he decided to eliminate the grade of a B+ because of how we fell on the curve. I got an 85, he said it was a B. Another person got an 86.1, he said it was an A- :(

i really don't like this professor. i mean seriously his talking about all his ethics thing about is experience etc. and like the ethics answers all is from his point of view. his answer is right annoying... i dont like how his view on ethics = the answer of the test because i disagree with some of it and so got the answer wrong..

He is seriously one of the most intelligent, sincere teachers I've ever had. I truly enjoyed this class. I don't believe I have ever learned so much about a subject or myself from one class. There is a lot of information and my only critique is that there was a lot covered outside the realm of business law.

Graduate BLAW course. What a joke- complete waste of my time & money. Professor procured the weekly services of a new age helper named Michael so we could all meditate during class. Also has to miss work to go to downtown LA and have my Chakra's tested, only to find that I have the same energies as Gary Coleman. Business Law? Really?

very intelligent man with multiple degrees. tries hard to be fair in his grading. there is a midterm, non cumulative final, and a group presentation on a legal issue. there's a lot of info and he talks fast. however, info is interesting and useful in real life.

Although he was quite interesting and made the material relevant to our lives outside of the classroom, his grading policy was a little unfair. He gave 10% of the students A's, 10% or 20% B's and the rest C's. In a 30 person class, I think it is quite unfair to give only THREE people A's. I had a mid-80s average and received a C.

I have tremendous respect for Dr. Arthur. One of the nicest, most humble professors I have ever met at LMU. Very passionate about teaching and really enjoys being around his students. Difficult course, but I would definitely recommend taking his class.
