Comment:

Worst class that I have ever taken. Professor Leon sped through material way too fast and did not thoroughly explain the projects. There is absolutely no structure to this class and your are expected to teach yourself how to do the projects. If you take this class, you are on your own!! Office hours are not helpful. Avoid Leon at all costs!!

Comment:

Shes a sweetheart. She goes above and beyond to make this very difficult material clear. It's a boring hard class that all LMU business majors have to take and shes the best professor to take it with. As long as you pay attention and do your work you should easily get a B. I almost got an A except I got senioritis and let some assignments slip.

Comment:

Leon is a good professor and wants her students to understand the material, but it is just hard to teach and grasp. Her exams are also really long, they take the entire period and nobody finishes before time is called (2 exams and 1 final). She is super helpful with the projects, so go to office hours.

I love her so much, she's brilliant. The skills you learn (forecast, simulation, etc.) are extremely relevant to any business majors. Because of Dr. Leon, I got a internship as a Data analyst by explaining everything I learned in her class. This is not a easy subject, but she is always available for office hours to help. She is so caring. 3

Overall, Dr. Leon's class was not extremely difficult. My main criticism about Dr. Leon was that she would teach us a lesson relevant to a project or a quiz/ exam one class period prior to the due date.

I thought she did a great job teaching material that could easily be boring. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the work and I felt like I actually learned things that I will take with me into the real world. The class was a little tough, but easily doable if you put in the time and effort.

This class is not that difficult. There are projects and tests, but if you go see her and have her look over your projects beforehand, you'll do fine. The tests are not hard, but she tries to pack in a lot of material into each one so you better know your stuff. Would definitely take her again. Do NOT buy the textbook.

Two midterms, 3 quizzes, 3 projects, reading assignments, final exam. If you pay attention in class you will do well. I just dont like her personally. Always lets you out late, relishes in the fact that some struggle with her class. Tests & quizzes are on a strict time schedule and she doesn't care if you don't finish... wouldn't take her again

Warning: a touch class!!!! however, Prof. Leon is the most helpful teacher I have ever encountered. She will stay up past mid night if need be to answer your question. You need to put all all the effort in the world to do well but the material is very interesting and she is an excellent teacher.

There were three projects, two midterms and a final oh and a few quizzes here and there. The class overall isn't challenging if you keep up with the work. Tests and quizzes are straight forward and she is an easy grader on the projects. Yes, it's a harder topic, but it's going to be hard no matter who you take. Class only uses excel.

VERY HARD CLASS, one of the hardest classes at LMU and she does not make it any easier. A lot of busy work and her projects are brutal. Not only do u have to work out projects on excel, but you also have to write 1 pg memo with charts and graphs (which she grades so hard). DO NOT TAKE IF YOU CAN

this subject is very hard!!! She gives to test that are impossible to complete, 2 in class assignments, and 3 take home assigments. Its a lot of work, but basically impossible to get an A. You will learn alot becuase she really know what she is talkin abou, but if you pay attention you will get a B.

To all readers: do not listen to the comment below mine. This class is tough, and Leon makes it even harder. There are 3 projects, constant HW assignments and 3 tests, so there is rarely time to breathe. I am working my butt off and only getting a C (I'm a 3.0+ student). Leon is nice. Structure is terrible and you WILL have a bad time.

She had a very good way of teaching. Very clear, practical. If you don't do well in this course, it's probably because you don't like numbers. Although there was some readings that were alot and part of the final, which I disliked. Still, though, it's not an easy class, but is a pretty good professors.

Prof. Leon is an EXCELLENT teacher. If you understand & do well on the homework & projects, then you will do well on the exams. Her class is challenging and the material is not easy. BUT, if you put in the effort & communicate w/her, then you should do fine. To get an A, you'll need to do some reading of the text & the reading assignments.
