He is a sweet guy, and I like him as a professor, except that I found that since I had not taken Calculus before I was at a major disadvantage. He did not explain concepts but rather thought you already knew them and mainly went over examples in class. The homework is fine, and his exams are fair, just a hard subject.

I thought he was a very fair teacher. very willing to help and his practice midterms/final are very similar to the real ones. homework load is just enough for you to know whether or not you know the material. much better option then some of the other professors out there for 16A. but still, hard to stay awake in class.

His tests are pretty simple if you're pretty good at math. His class is REALLY boring and hard to understand. He is willing to meet with you and try to help you if you have any questions.

He's a really nice prof..but the class is pretty boring..He's tests are fair though, and the homework isn't too hard either. I didn't go to most of his lectures cuz therez no point...instead go to the workshops if u need help.

Basically the book was a review for me, so I would attend class once every week to turn in hw. The class is VERY boring, I fall asleep everytime. I'd rather go back to my room and do the damn hw and then sleep. The class was useless to me.

I agree... it is so hard to stay awake in his class, but in fairness, he is very fair when it comes to exams and amount of hw. he is alway very helpful during office hours. the TA is a different story, though. there was no point for having the discussion after you just turned in the hw!

Yes he is monotone. Advanced Linear Algebra from him is ALL proofs, no examples or anything! He is a very nice person, and helpful, if you can sit through his lectures.

Krener's lectures were very boring...but if you can stand them, his tests are not that hard. He is a really nice guy, and wants everyone to do well. So, if you can read your math book, and go to office hours, you'll be ok.

He is SO boring and monotone. His tests are kind of difficult. He makes me never want to do math again. Skipped lecture because I could nap at home on my bed where it's comfortable, instead of sitting at a hard desk in a lecture hall.
