WORST PROF EVER!! makes tons of mistakes in lecture. Assignments and quizzes every week. Uses the chalkboard and writes very small. Do yourself a favour and never take a class with this guy. Praying for everyone this semester.

He makes a lot of mistakes in lecture, and doesn't properly explain concepts of shows any useful examples. Avoid at all cost. Tutors at the UofC cant even help because "he is teaching the class a lot differently". RIP

Comment:

Avoid if possible. Facilitated the classes more than he taught them. Do not expect to learn much in his class. Take it with another professor and you are likely to learn more and possibly earn a better grade. He also curves his class lower than other 300 level classes.

Comment:

Tried to change the style of teaching for controls this semester. Way too many typos and unclear statements in his assignments (not thought out well). He only started teaching the important part of control (laplace transform PD, PI and PID controllers three weeks before the end of classes). Lectures are discontinuous and quite terribly planned.

Great professor. Very clear and always cheerful. Almost every lecture, he'd have a few slides about some fun topic in engineering (Wiimotes, the science of animal movement, prosthesis in the Olympics) that helped break up the 2-hour long lectures.
