Literally 1 of the worst Professors @ UCC. He?s not a mean person but gives a massive amount of work, you will use up like 3 notebooks. I failed because of the 8 homework assignments we would get per class. Takes attendance. Will NOT help if you ask, I tried 1 time when I missed class. Throws students out of class for no valid reason.

He doesn't teach anything. He isn't funny. He makes you work in boring groups. He keeps you in class for the entire 2 hours and sometimes even longer. He gives an exam every week. Alright. The deal with this teacher is that. Startin from the second day of class, there is already an exam and every day after that. SO read and do every homework he gives you. I did all this and he still gave me a low grade. Dont look for an easy A for this prof. He's not that bad. But he wasnt good either.

I don't know may teacher that will allow you to correct your paper and then turn it in for a grade. He really wants to teach the student and expects them to act like college students but he is there to help along the way. I learned a TON with this teacher and it made me a much better writer. If you are an English Major you WON'T regret taking him!

if you're looking to actually learn English take mr. rose. yes, the homework is a lot but if you can't handle it go back to high school because you shouldn't be in college; the groups do get tedious but are beneficial if your classmates care. i highly recommend mr. rose if you want to earn your grade and not just be given one.

Professor Rose is extremely sarcastic and will not be shamed to put you on black infront of the whole class. Which is extremely unprofession. The constant writing in his class benefits you, but as far as grammar he will not teach you a thing and suggest you read/learn on you're own. He is a horrible professor! Probably one of the worst teachers I think I have ever had. He doesn't care if you pass/fail..He is rude & extremely strict! Don't leave his room without permission, even tho were adults,he will permanetly kick you out!
