He is a nice man who is willing to give help. If you study his suggested problem before the exam, you will be fine.

He is amazing teacher who have abilities to write own book. He does not use powerpoint slide during lecture. He post suggested problem with all solution, if u prsctice and know how to solve. You would fine for exam. His have only five question in webassign each capter. There is 4 question in exam , two of them will be from webassign.

This guy is extremely smart I'll give him that but he can not teach. Students don't want to sit through 3-hour lectures every class. His tests are just like his homework so study that and you'll do well but his test grading is ridiculous. I once got 4 points off for a not strong enough theory. Choose another professor to stay awake or less stress

Lecture mainly consists of tedious derivations rather than understanding concepts. Just show up for labs, but learn the material on your own either using the book or watching a better online lecture (i.e. Walter Lewin). He posts practice questions for each chapter + solves them exactly how you should on the exam if you want full credit. Good luck!

I think he's fine as a person but a horrible teacher. I already have zero interest in physics, but this professor somehow makes the subject LESS interesting. Luckily the homework and labs help with your grade, but you'll suffer on the tests if you don't pay close attention to the lectures (which are impossible to sit through).

Comment:
No attendance needed, lectures are kinda boring and make you sleep. Sometimes confusing but overall it's OKAY if you really pay attention. And, online web assign homework are little hard comparing to lectures. Doesn't solve that many text-book problems from the text.

Compared to the other physics profs at abington, he's probably the easiest. The course itself is pretty challenging but he makes it easier to pass. For example, the tests are almost straight from the online hw and the labs are very easy too. The only drawback is that his lectures are extremely boring and it's hard to pay attention for that long.

Biggest issue for most people is that he can be quite boring when lecturing. In terms of difficulty, the class is only difficult because of the nature of the subject. If you like physics this class won't be too bad, otherwise this may be a difficult class for you. Exams are alike problems discussed in class and webassign homework.

I took this class during summer session and was really easy. Labs/hw I got 99% on and that's 30% of the grade. First test I got an 85 then got 70 on the next 2. The practice tests help as well as the suggested problems. To get 100% on all hws I used chegg hw help. He is a nice guy and it can get boring but he knows that and can't help it

he the only on teaching the class, but he is nice prof. if you need help you can go up to him a ask, and he will explain it to you.Only one problem the class is so boring, and to stay awake u need a big cup of coffee, and in class during teaching he tends to skips parts of his of the equation, you wouldn't get where to start.

Ok this guy is one of the nicest teachers at PSU Abington, but wow he can not teach, goes on and on, never gets to detail on the material and never shows how he got anything, moves way to fast and should not be teaching, the class is way to hard and so are the web assigns, i would recommended another teacher, Good LUCK, waste of time and money

IF YOU NEED HELPIN THIS CLASS GO ASK HIM BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY PHYSIC PROFESSOR THAT WILL HELP YOU. All the other students that gave him a bad rating didn't ask him for help nor study or did the homework. Ask you help because physic is the hardest course

He's a really boring teacher. I would recomend finishing Math 140 before you take this. It makes it much easier. That way when you fall asleep during class you'll still be able to do well.
