Absolutely terrible, leaned too much on my spanish lab which didnt teach you a thing. was totally incoherent in class. Tests were far more difficult than they should've been... I'm spanish and i still failed and hated the experience!

Useless. Utterly and completely useless. Just buy the book and read it on your own, that's really the only way you will learn anything. Unfortunately you have to come to class every day, but when you do, don't expect to have an actual professor because I wouldn't call Arturo one of those.

Such an easy prof! His BS attendance policy sucked, but he didn't usually stick to it so it worked out. I learned a lot of spanish, but it was mostly self-taught. If you can have the dedication to self-teach, take this gen ed with him because he's wicked easy.

Arturo is the****. Seriously. He tends to get off track, and we spend most of the class speaking in English. But it's easy and he sometimes even rigs the test grades so everyone gets better grades. Plus he's hilarious and makes Spanish class fun and interesting with his crazy stories!

I really hated the idea of having to take spanish in college but he made it fun. Great teacher and great person. I selected my classes to make sure i could have him.....only drawback is is classes are usually at 8-9 or 9-10. Strongly recommend.

arturo is absolutely hilarious. he tells great stories and is easy to get off track. sometimes he gets moody tho, but if he likes you, you will get at least a B. he's not always honest about what's on tests, but mostly cuz he doesn't know til the day b4.

He fu<king rules. I easily got a b in spanish and failed every one of my tests. Great teacher for getting spanish gen ed. requirement...as long as you work hard in class and show a change in your understanding of the language throughout the course.
