Dr Kirin is awesome!! There was a lot of material covered, but as long as you study you will get an A. He also does review sessions before the test and tells you all the information you need to know. He is really knowledgeable on the subject and makes learning fun!!!

Absolutely loved this class! Prof Kirin is amazing and knows EVERYTHING about Russian art and architecture. The class was definitely challenging, so I recommend taking notes on computer to keep up with all of his lectures. The midterm was 40% and the final was 60% of grade, but if you study your butt off, an A is possible and I LOVED it and miss it

He is the nicest professor I've had so far. He is super smart and great at teaching and explaining. For that reason, the 2 tests (including the non-cumulative final) and the one short paper we had were both a breeze for everybody. He has an accent but its not a problem at all. He can be kinda funny and I thought he made the subject interesting.

Dr. Kirin is an amazing professor! I am taking the Senior Seminar with him right now and he is the most helpful professor in the Art History department. He just wants his students to learn new information and his lectures are always so interesting. Take any of his classes and it will probably be the best class of your semester.First rate professor

Professor Kirin is amazing. He loves to simply talk about what he wants you to learn. This makes it interesting and enjoyable to listen to and learn. Also, he's very funny. His passion radiates from him. I'll be sad if i don't have another class with him.

I've had Kirin as a prof. twice now & I still maintain that he's one of the best ARHI professors @ LDSOA. He is very respectful, helpful and laid-back. Go to class, pay attention & study from the slide viewer รข€"you'll do fine. He sincerely wants all of his students to succeed, so just talk to him if you have a problem or don't understand.
