Not sure if she's still here. Granted a boring class, I am not a math person and vowed not to do Calc. so that was the only choice I had. I HIGHLY rec. Prof. Ahlin. and I would rec. take both parts (you'll do best 2nd time round). Attend most if not all classes it helps w. understanding the material... overall pretty easy great teacher & outcomes!

She was very enthusiastic about the material, but she never eally explained it very well. She was ther for office hours when I went, but she didn't alter her teaching approach at all, which was not very helpful. If I understood it in class then why would I have to come to office hours?

I really liked Professor Ahlin. She was really nice and sweet. She never said she would write a recommendation for me when I only came to class like 75% of the time.

The class wasn't too hard, and she's helpful/accessible. The workload's not too light, and some of her homework assignments are a pain in the ass. Avoid the class if you can, but if you need it for CPLE, it's not too bad for non-math people like myself.

This professor was wonderful about helping outside of class. Though learning math in a lecture hall is generally difficult, her willingness to meet with students whenever and wherever is amazing for a professor, and very helpful!
