AWESOME teacher, Professional, Proficient, Practical, Fair, and makes learning fun. He is very helpful outside of the classroom. You will get a good grade if you do the assignments yourself, attend the classes, pay attention, and simply if you do your job, he does his. I would definitely recommend a class with Professor Atlas.

I took this for on semester and walked out knowing nothing related to engineering, he does not teach, goes off on random tangents, you cannot understand what he says, and if he gives an assignment, your left guessing what it is and what needs to be done because he does not even explain. And forget about knowing your progress in this class.

Prof. Atlas is knowledgeable in the area of engineering economics and finance he is extremely bright in mathematics. He is a true believer in continuos improvement therefore he often gives students a chance to improve their grades. He has a good sense of humor, very funny. it takes the edge of the dryness of the course material he has to teache.

Also ITC 373 and ITC 475 & others. I graduate back in '91 and it sounds like Atlas is as entertaining now as he was back then! He's sometimes a bit vague with his expectations of you, however, just show an interest in the material, try your best and he will ALWAYS take care of you - a great person!

Very unclear teaching. I wonder if he understands the English language. Only taught a small amount of the material, but expected we know everything. Unclear as to what he expected of us in homework and on tests. He didn't remember when he assigned work, or what we were doing/learning each day.

I just stumbled across this web site (great idea!) I had Atlas about 10 years ago for a few very intense classes that took alot of work. I have to say he is the most memorable of all and by far one of the best! Crazy amounts of work but don't pass it up.
