Comment:

Anyone who says they "hate" her obviously did not do the work. I barely knew how to use excel and did not know how to use access. The only boring part was that she had to repeat the steps 30 times for lazy children. Take Dr.Yrle when you grow up and you'll make a good grade.

If you do not have a large amount of time to dedicate to this class, do NOT take her. She assigns a HUGE amount of work that can only be done outside of class. The textbook is very expensive and if you want to do well on exams, quizzes, and assignments you need it. I do know excel a lot better due to this class however. If avoidable, AVOID her!!

I had no problem understanding Excel concepts as she presented them. Heck, the part I found the most boring and tedious was the fact she had to repeat basic concepts over and over again for lazy students. Do the homework, read the chapters, go to class, pay attention and you will pass. It's a software class, expect it to be time consuming.

A LOT of outside class work. Homeworks are expected to be "perfect." She adds ZERO enthusiasm to an already boring class. SOOOOO BORING. Plus, the book is around $150 unused. AVOID if possible, I wish I would have.

HATE HATE HATED!!! this class. Do not take her. She grades so harshly and she picks favorites. She is extremely hard and seems to think her class is the only class you have. If she is avoidable, AVOID!!!!!

Dr. Yrle is unique. She bugs you into submission. I think she is crazy(really) but fun in a strange way. GO TO CLASS, TAKE NOTES, and just dont take her too serious. I probably laugh more in that class than any other. This class is VERY TIME CONSUMING!

Very lovely lady. Take this professor only if you have a desire to learn the material. This class will not be an easy A. She will make you work for it(Very detailed oriented). Very helpful and funny. All she asks for in return is RESPECT. Give her respect, and this class will be a breeze. Be prepared to come to all class sessions.

I would not recommend taking her. If you like working with Excel and Access and following minute little details, then she is for you. If you want to keep your sanity, don't take her. She can be nice and all, but her homeworks can be so annoying. I got a B but her homeworks drove me crazy. Also, I found her tests to be challenging.

She's awesome! She gives 9 homework assignments throughout the semester, but she does them for you in class! She's always very willing to help, you just have to ask. Some of her little quirks in class are funny too. She gives a grade based on attendance but if you tell her you will be absent she will usually let you sign the sheet. RECOMMENDED!!

Dr. Yrle is strict about everything. She is understanding and lets some things slide, BUT she has many homework assignments. Her tests are pretty easy too. She let us bring a "cheat sheet" to all tests. She also has a HUGE curve on the midterm and last test. She cares too much about her teacher reviews, which is why I think she was so understanding

her assignments are really easy but attendance is strict and she is VERY high school. her syllabus is about 12 pages long with stupid rules like she will take our cell phones if seen texting and you cant leave to go to the bathroom...she treats her students like we are 13 years old and idiots.Boring and scary to ask for help.

She will assign you TONS of homework and before you even bein to turn it in, she has another one awaiting for you to do. She thinks we have no life and expects us to devote ALL of our time to BA2780. Her voice is annoying and she makes you look like a fool if you ask her a question or come to class late. Be ready to do lots of work!
