I learned a lot from Lee. Go to all his lectures because he gives good notes and assigns homework weekly. He exhibits a disturbingly large amount of pleasure in giving pop quizzes in the first five minutes of class. I thought his exams were difficult but fair. I am not asian and did well in his class.

i think he's a really nice prof and is very eager to help students to learn. I do agree that he's not the best prof but he's not bad at all. i like his class, he wants everyone to learn. as for favoring asian girls part, i don't agree, ppl get this misconception b/c there are so many asian taking his classes.

He will teach easy stuff in class and he will make the stupidest jokes ever. If you are Tfing for him or if you know him personally, take the course; you are gonna get a good grade. If not, then avoid this course by all means. You will learn nothing, get bored in his stupid lectures and end up with a low grade. He is, at his best, worthless.

Funny guy! Teaches in a way that you can figure additional problems out on your own. Sometimes difficult to pay attention b/c of accent and nature of material, but lectures are extraordinarily helpful. Would definitely take another class with him.

Very funny guy, notes that are excellent and clear, great prof. with 30 yrs exp. The midterm average was 83. Unannounced quizzes. The comment about the TA's is unfair: they are his advisees, however they are not taking the same class that they are TAing.

Worst teacher ever... no book, no homework, and then you have to do problems on the midterm. Impossible to understand at first, but gets easier. TERRIBLE!!!!!
