His class is extremely hard. Your grade is honestly what you put in it. I suffer from his class since i did not take the class serious. He gives out all these assignments to better educate you in stats. You are suppose to be going out of your way to find out the answers. He gives you all the material and step by step to solve problems.

I absolutely loved Brian's class! As long as you do all the homework you will be fine. He will go out of his way to answer your questions, and thoroughly explains the material. It is a really easy class as long as you put the effort in.

Took Trig and stats 1510 with this professor THE WORST DECISION I MADE. He is not understanding about mistakes. VERY strict on grading. If it's not done the way he likes it, you miss half the question. VERY frustrating to deal with. If you ask me for advice avoid this professor at all costs.

If you get him as a professor, drop the class. If you need the class, take it somewhere else. He is not approachable for help whatsoever and expects you to know everything as if youve taken the class before. He makes this class so much more difficult than it actually is.

I would never take Statistics with him again! His YouTube lectures are hard to follow, and the textbook he happends to write himself is all over the place. Don't expect him to be helpful, or lenient in anyway. I would have given him a 0 if I could.

Got a 67% my 1st time but did not put in a lot of effort. 2nd time around I have an A. This class is very demanding. If you do not do you homework and notes, you will not succeed. Participate in class and he is more likely to help you. Final project took me and others over 22 hours to complete and is a full on statistical analysis.

He is a nice guy, but his lectures only confuse you more than you already are. When you ask for help he explains things in a confusing manner as well. You need to be on top of things and make sure you understand each chapter. He is a hard grader when it comes to his projects. Most people have taken the class several times.

I took his class online and it was difficult. You had to turn in before the midterm and finals written notes by mailing or by PDF. I had 78 and dropped my grade to a 74 because of those notes. I didn't find it fair because he didn't teach anything. If it wasn't for those "notes" that needed to be turned in I would of received a B. Not recommended.

I love math and after taking this class I don't know if I would say I feel the same way. He made calculus seem so hard and confusing. No one gets what he's taking about because his choice of words are unnecessarily long words that are hard to understand.

He partially wrote the book. He talks down to you. He needs to realize that this material is new to all students. WE do not have the degree, answers our questions with a question, leaving me more confused. He makes you feel stupid if you ask a question, looking at you like "You SERIOUSLY don't get this??" And say out loud, "It's NOT hard"

He DOES NOT help you. Don't dare ask for help. If you ask for help, he will embarrass you in front of the entire class. Your lectures are on YOUTUBE, there is nothing taught in class. If you fall behind, he will not help you. If you don't understand something from the YOUTUBE videos, he tells you to watch again. Shouldn't even have a job.

I hated reading these comments about Professor Jean. He is a great teacher I knew nothing about Statistics and coming into his class he taught me so much and gave me confidence I needed. He works with software to make things easier for students not harder, he is genuinely a great guy and Professor. Don't hate just take the time and learn.

He has made a bunch of videos to get our online lectures. Much better than just reading a book. He was very helpful. Always answered my questions within 24 hours and answered very clearly. Hated the idea of taking statistics, but really enjoyed this class. Be prepared to WORK.

He has lectures online then we talk about the stuff in class and works out problems. He does a "mini" lecture assuming you actually viewed the videos before class. I thought it was great way to learn, but you have to invest the time. He is every helpful. Easy to understand and a nice guy.

Horrible, horrible professor. All lectures are online. He does not care whether you pass or fail. He is more preoccupied with the using Mathematica software than teaching the class. I would not recommend him to anyone!!

Very nice professor but very tough to grasp a clear understanding of his lectures. I don't think that he understands how to effectively convey an idea in a way that makes sense to the average student seeing the material for the first time. He tends to make simple ideas difficult to understand. Recommended only if you can teach urself from the book.

He is a very funny guy, but his class is boring. Try to study hard and you can get a B. If you want to get an A, it will be very hard. Remember, you must talk to him and always ask him questions. If you can let him feel that you like his class or like him, then he will be nice to you and let you get a better grade.

Mr. Jean is probably one of the best professors I've had. His class is not easy but as long as you pay attention in class and do your homework you should pass with at least a B. He made statistics fun for me.
