I took his criminology class and would take him again in a heartbeat. Having to miss class for about a month or two, he was very understanding and overall super flexible. His lectures were always funny and the only time I used my textbook was to study the study guides he put online!

Read, take notes, and go to class. Crew knows what he's talking about but his lectures can be boring on some days. Highly recommend going to class because he will tell you what to study for. His test are all open ended questions so know your stuff.

Prof. Crew is amazing. He is hands down my favorite professor at UNI. In class, he lectures a bit, but likes class input. It's important to participant because at the end of the semester he asks how you think you did on it. He really facilitates learning, while making you think about the topics. Reading the text will really help discussion.

Took for Law and Society. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares. But he never stays on topic, so it's okay to skip every once in a while. His tests aren't super hard but they are mostly fill in the blank and short essay. He is always willing to extend a due or exam date also.
