She is a nice professor who likes to call on people who sleep. She lectures with only key terms as a guide on the board. A midterm,final and a 4 easy homework questions plus attendance was the grade requirment. The class was too early for me not to fall asleep. Plus we had 2 papers based on reading 2 300 page novels. Beware

Excellent professor with lots of knowledge of the subject material. Easy exams and papers that really only require reading some of the chapters in the books she assigns.

She is not the worst teacher at hofstra that's for sure. She gives you a review sheet for the test with all the information you need to know. The paper assignment was breeze. She interacts with the students during her lectures. Better than most history teachers a Hofstra

She is...alright. I'm not sure I would take another class with her, but she is certainly far from "worst teacher ever." It annoys me how she asks so many questions, but the lectures aren't bad. You don't even have to read and she does give out comprehensive review sheets before the tests. Eh not bad

Absoultely awful teacher - subject matter is interesting though. Do not take this class with this teacher - unclear grading policy, unfair tests (with no review) - I received my lowest grade over the last 3 years off college in this course because of her - avoid this teacher whenever possible

Very sweet and helpful. Has you do a normal amount of reading, but if you have some general knowledge and participate often, she'll love you forever. I would definitely take her again.

Avoid this professor at all costs. I've had some bad ones but she takes the cake. The subject is easy enough and I answered half the questions in class (mostly just to get her to stop asking the question and that was when I woke up). Boring as hell.

Class is soo unfair.. Everyone doesnt get the grade that they earned.. Those who work really hard and dont wanna B , take something else.. Even if u get a A on the test.. Everyone gets a B or who knows what she gives u
