Lectures were very long winded. When an interesting question was asked he would always say "We'll get to that another class period" but that class never would seem to come. Requires very difficult books to understand. Tests were not what he made them seem to be. Lots of writing in his class that seems to get pointless after a while.

Into to philosophy class was really easy, there are three tests, no papers and no homework except for reading. His test's are not difficult as long as you show up to class and take notes. You will know by the drop date weather you can pass or not.

He cracked me up all semester...he is just kind of weird, but funny weird! This particular class was interesting to me, so I enjoyed it. We had 5 books that I did not even buy or read and I made a B. If you show up for class and take notes you will do fine. The tests are multiple choice and short essay.

Dr. Baer is quite possibly the most intelligent man I've ever met. He just doesn't fit in at TLU though. He puts too much emphasis on academics and not enough on being a well rounded person, which is something I feel is integral to a TLU education.
