Lately he's been really hard to reach. His inbox will get full or he won't respond at all. But if you raise your hand in class and let him know he's getting confusing he'll be happy to explain. Other than that, he's really tough and has high expectations of his students, but if you actually try and understand what he's saying you'll learn a lot.

Dr. Vrooman is tough, but he is a great professor! He teaches at grad level, which is challenging, but you will learn so much. The readings he assigns are difficult, but you have a chance to discuss them in class. He expects you to participate & form your own arguments. NEVER change the side of your argument! He will try to trick you. He's a nerd.

Dr. Vrooman is hard. No doubt about it. Shows no remorse if you do not read/ask questions/pay attention in class. Assignments are TOUGH but ask him questions BEFORE it's due. His advice makes your work better. I learned how to argue/speak publicly the right way thanks to him. He's also SUPER hilarious. Try hard (really hard) & you will do great.

I graduated in 2004 and had Dr. Vrooman for several classes. Dr. Vrooman does teach at a grad. level. Infact, many of the grad level courses I am taking now do not compare to Vrooman's curriculum. Though he is hard, you will learn in his class!

He is a funny dude. Even when I fall asleep in his class, he takes it with a grain of salt.... I will probably take more classes with him... he deserves the chilli pepper... if he thinks this is a "sympathy pepper" he is wrong. I think he is cool... plus, I DIG nerds and he up there with some of the finest...
