(Lit Trad 1) Cowan was a wonderful professor. He explained things well, and although there were a lot of papers, they were easy. He's well respected in the school (Note the Cowan Library), and is very interesting. Have a good chat with him in his office hours! He knows his stuff. There will be pop quizzes, but they don't count for much.

Cowan's lectures are often confusing and he quickly moves from one subject to another, then back again. He gives quizzes about random aspects of the story that few people are capable of recalling. He also doesn't grade very quickly. In fact, he didn't get to grade our quizzes before grades were due, so they didn't go towards final grades.

Show up to class and you will be given a wealth of knowledge. Very knowledgable and fun to listen to. Expects students to give a lot, which means you work harder and get more. Loves his class, a real pleasure.
