This class wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. She did assign quite a bit of homework, but she does a good job of reviewing material. Before each test, she hands out an outline of the test, so you know exactly what will be on there, which I found useful. If you take her, stay on top of your work and follow the syllabus closely!!

This teacher seemed to be "too smart" for the class I was in. Questions were rarely answered to my liking and I had As in every Spanish class I had ever taken until this one. She was very difficult to communicate with or understand. This class was my biggest stressor of my semester.

Pros: very willing to help you out as long as you do the work, easy to understand, funny, spunky, generally pretty nice Cons: she has a small superiority complex, her tests are very hard, don't miss a homework assignment or she'll make an example of you for the class

She is extremely passionate about what she teaches and knows her subjects well. She righfully challenges her students and ensures that they actually take something from her class. If you're looking for an easy A without learning anything, don't take her. Well-organized, good-intentioned, and dedicated prof.

OOHhh I take back what i said about her helfulness. She is the DEVIL. The Spain class is pure torture. I thought she was nice at first)hence me posting she is my great new boss and advisor) but turns out she is crazy anal and mean just like the entire Foreign Language Department at AU. Maybe thats why there are so few majors and minors...

I'd compare her to Salsgiver. Both nice and good teachers, but they enforce going to the spanish lab which is the worst. It's your normal spanish class, and you can get thru it no problem. Just do the work and use a translating website.

Wonderful Spanish Prof! Definatley an advocate for Women's Rights. She's hard, very hard. And expects a lot. But she's enthusiastic and you'll learn a lot from her!

I love her! She is very helpful and understanding. She is always available in her office if you make an appointment. She wants to see us succeed. She is my new advisor and she is the greatest boss! She is one of my favorite profs at ashland!
