She definately speaks rapidly (beware!) and is very excited about the material (which i must admit, isn't exactly the most exciting stuff.) However, if you follow her notes with the text, you shouldn't have much of a problem. Tests are multiple choice. Study, go to class, and you should be fine. She is VERY nice and always willing to help.

maybe it was easy because it was her first time teaching this level of bio, but she was really nice and really excited over REALLY boring stuff like plant reproduction. Definitely easier than Herrera's part of the class, but she doesn't really believe in curves so make sure you take her with a teacher who does...you'll need one!

The tests were ridiculous for a non science major bio. The amount of memorization she wanted us to do for each one was crazy, I studied for 24 hours total for a test and still didn't make an A. She is a very nice lady though, and her lectures aren't too bad. Skipping class is a bad idea anyways since all test questions come from lectures.

Learning about the reproduction of mold is intersesting. Oh wait, no it isn't. hard tests, no curves(on the teacher either), and the lectures remind me of watching paint dry. Bad , stay away.

Miss Barbara is very nice and funny. Her tests are multiple choice, matching, and fill in the blank. Her lectures are very interesting. If you want to do well study the week before the test.

Not a good class to take. If you're a major that requires taking this or 2008, take the latter. I studied 24 hours for the last test and i'm not sure I got an A. Too much memorization, very difficult class!

A bit more difficult than the normal non-science major biology class. It just requires a lot of studying and it may be hard for anyone who really isn't good at science. She's a very nice and approachable person and her lectures are usually very interesting, though.
