Dr. Clayton is my favourite prof. Very understanding, lectures are very engaging, lots of good discussion and feedback. She really cares, and is so knowledgeable. She even organized a field trip for our class to a Buddhist monastery. 1 research paper, a take home midterm & final, a group project, and participation assignments. Fantastic class!

Fantastic professor. She really knows what she's talking about, and she keeps the class well entertained throughout her lectures. She's enthusiastic, and clearly loves what she is teaching. Overall, she's a wonderful professor.

She's obviously a smart lady but her lectures are very disorganized, impossible to follow and extremely hard to take notes from. Stops regularly in the middle of lectures to get herself back together. Gives difficult tests. She's very nice, but not a good teacher.

I took this FIRST year course attempting to get a grasp of some religions and this course did nothing bu confuse me. Don't take her courses unless you have a FULL understanding of about 5 different religions. Definitely a scatter brain which did not help my confusion. Pop quizes brutal unless you cheated like 91% pple in the class..

Very nice and helpful, but a scatterbrain. I had no problem getting high grades in into Eastern religions. Classes are interesting enough and she tries to keep things as informal as possible - chalk it up to her being so young. Group tests are a joke.

Worst class I ever took and it's all her fault! She can't keep her discussions on topic for 10 minutes. Constantly trying to make us laugh. She has no lesson plans, no structure in what she says. Once she left for an appointment and stuck on a movie for us with a shot soundtrack. Plus there are the horrible girls sitting up front kissing her butt.
