After four classes with Barb, I still don't like her teaching style. She's vague in directions and detailed when grading, and my all time biggest issue is she doesn't give a class schedule with the syllabus, so everything is hear-say (the week before) without a printed reference. Seems like she's making it up as she the weeks go by.

Be prepared for pop quizzes (on movies watched, lectures, comments). Midterm/Final are performing an exercise in front of the class based on a muscle group chosen at random. She goes over exercises for each muscle group at beginning of semester, so takes notes if you're not completely familiar for with proper techniques for each muscle group.

This class is totally pointless and ridiculous! Who knew stretching could be so f'ing complex. I'm dumber for taking it. Midterm and Final where you have to go in front of the class, perform a stretch going into a ridiculous amount of detail and if you screw up, you lose half your points

Took this online - tons of tedious busywork. I believe she thinks she teaches more than a re-run of 10th grade health class. I caught on that she appreciates cut and paste quite early, and I'm not a moron, so I did well. She is very attentive to e-mails, however, and gets things back to you quickly. I'd still advise taking it with someone else.

Took the Sat. morning class which was only 4 total classes. Lots of work for a 1 credit class and there's a test for the last 3 weeks. I missed a class, barely did the reading, and BSed the final project and got a B+. A lot of it is common sense, but be prepared to put in some time. Don't take this class if you have over 16 credits already.

9-12:30 on saturday morning. Only 4 classes. Last three all involved a test, each covering about 7 chapters. Final project is pretty easy but tedious. Way too much work for a ONE CREDIT CLASS. Three exams and a large project, for one credit? This class should be an easy A, I get good grades and only recieved a B. take with someone else of possible.

She is very knowledgeable in her field, but the material is very, very, very dull. Although the class has no point, you'll need to jump through the hoop eventually, so she is a safe bet for a decent grade. However, if you're looking for some coursework that is truly inspiring, try someone else.
