My first impression was "tough cookie".. But I soon found how amazing she was! Quizzes where straight forward; tests were pretty hard (if you dont study) so study! She is funny & I enjoyed this class! She is an RN so if you are going into nursing,you'll like her nursing approach. You will learn more from this class than other FWS class, guaranteed!

Mrs Lowry is a wealth of information for those who are pursuing a nursing degree. She is very clear on the material and lets you know exactly whats going to be on quizzes and tests. I very much enjoyed her class and would recommend her without hesitation!

Comment:

Loved this teacher. She teaches what you need to know without all the fluff. She goes over chapter reviews after each chapter. She tells you exactly what you need for quizzes. Does a great exam review although the exams go a little deeper than what she might review so you will need to read your notes. Very willing to help. Highly recommend her.

Good teacher, she moves through the material fast but gives you a study guide to go off of for each chapter. If you pay attention and write down what she says will be on a quiz/test you will pass the class. This is by no means a CAKE class as some think.

She is a nurse so she taught the class from a nurses standpoint... she was kinda boring. she thinks she is young but she isn't, it would be funny if she were joking but its just sad... as long as you read the chapter you will be fine.. i skip a lot and im doing fine

She doesn't really use the book or write notes down for you to copy. She talks, and it's best to take notes about what she is saying. She tells funny stories, but they help you remember what she's talking about. She makes the boring subject interesting.

she is super nice, and a very compassionate individual. Always ask students if they understand her lectures. I took nutrition before several years ago, and i have to take it again for a refresher course. This teacher is different from my old teacher. She is a very sweet person and her class is easy.

If you have to take Nutrition, take it with her. Dont be fooled, I didnt find her to be good at all. Not very interesting and not a cheerful personality. Not the greatest, but best for Nutrition I guess. I didnt find her that easy either.
