She is a really intelligent and EXTREMELY organized professor. She always had everything on blackboard and made sure to give reminders of upcoming activities. 2 midterms, 5 discussion papers, & final essay. I think her exams were exactly what she described them as- no surprises. She is also an extremely fair marker. Loved her and highly recommend!

Barbra has the most boring lectures I have attended. The material is dry and she has clearly been teaching the same stuff for to long. The tests are fair but she seemed to give every group the same mark on presentations. Take notes on her PowerPoints as they are not clear

Honestly, she is a remarkably wonderful instructor. Provides great notes. There are readings, however they aren't always necessary depending on how well you manage on the notes. She is very respectful and very fair when it comes to examinations. She provides ample opportunity to earn grades through the term. I recommend taking one of her classes.

Go to class - you'll have all the notes you need to ace the course! Textbook wasn't really necessary even though she assigns readings. Term project was a little long, but if you start on it early, you'll be fine. Fair grader. Respects students. Interesting course.

Barbara is one of the genuinely nicest proffs that I have had at Mount Royal. She talks to all students on an equal level as opposed to other profs who are condescending. She was great, and she would always explain content to me if I had questions. I also liked her sense of humour, and she created a positive environment in the class. Awesome prof!
