Suck up to him. He either likes you or doesn't. grades based on that. GO TO CLASS. i didn't buy the book. tests are short answer which he gives you beforehand to study but it's all off the notes that you will take in class (none of which are written on the board). WEIRD DUDE.

Honestly, Seng is one of the best professors at Loyola (him and Dr. Wicks). The class is really easy, Dr. Seng makes it fun and interesting, and he always has stories to share. Dr. Seng is hilarious! Three test (short answer), super easy paper, and a final. Plus, he tries to arrange for everyone to go on a field trip to the Federal Prison (MCC).

My favorite professor at Loyola. Chose him as my advisor because of it. No textbook for the capstone class. Knows what he is talking about and has a brilliant mind. Quirky at times but who isn't? Take Seng for whatever you can.

I loved this class. Professor Seng is somewhat of a crazy man, but he definitely knows what he is talking about! The subject matter was really interesting. The paper and exams were easy, as long as you come to class. I never used the book and still got an A. just listen to his lectures and take notes and you will do great.

Great class. The tests and papers aren't difficult assuming you put in a little effort. It's an easy A, yet this class still makes you really think critically- if you let it. Seng knows a lot about corrections and if you're a Social Worker or somewhat liberal in your views, you'll really enjoy listening to him.

This is the best prof I've ever had in my college career! I am totally looking forward to taking him again! I cannot tell you guys how great and awesome he is. Class is extremely funny with his quirky sayings. 8 small assignments, mid-term, final, research proposal(the 8 assgn. put together). Easy easy easy stuff. Best guy EVER!

AWESOME CLASS. DEF one of my favorites. I loved the professor. He made the topic super interesting. The book wasn't too bad either. Easy A as long as you work for it (and show up to class). I'm taking him again for two more classes.

I thought he was really difficult. There is a ton of information, so go to all the classes. Book is useless and exams rely class notes. VERY inconsistant grader, but you know what is coming as far as assignments are concerned. Nice, funny, smart, eye-opening, but it is not a cake-walk class and I wouldn't say he's "the best."

Really inconsistent grader - same answer from three different people on a test got three different point values. Offered no explanation for this when asked. I memorized the answers for the final and still didn't do as well as I should have. I could have copied out of the book and my answers would not have been graded any more highly.
