Very easy class taught by a great, passionate teacher. Grade is based off participation, an opinion based midterm the class made up, and a 4 essay question final. Class is big on discussions and videos; videos can be graphic at times but thats the nature of the class, she will warn you ahead of time. Best teacher for this course!!!

WMS360 with her was great! I learned so much in this course. If you do the readings and participate in the discussions, you will do well. She opened my eyes to so many things, and I can honestly say that her class changed my outlook on life.

Barbara Mitrano is a terrific lady and a wonderful teacher! She is highly intelligent and really cares for her students! She will do anything to help you, and she was one of the best teachers that I have ever had!

Dr. Mitrano has a ton of interesting insight into the topic. The class is hardly ever lecture and you really get to think for yourself about the issues. The work is not difficult and there were no tests. She's extremely helpful and nice!!

I had to take this class for GenEd, and if you don't like to do busy work in a class, I suggest you don't take it. ALOT OF READING IN THIS CLASS.. Easy to understand and will help you with any problems you have with assignments

I had both Intro and Feminist Theory with Barb. She was one of the best professors I've had. She leads in engaging and educated conversations/debates. She promotes student's thinking for themselves and back it up! I love her! She took us to Bill Grays
