If you love Betty White, you will LOVE Barbara. She's hilarious, and she made grammar fun. Don't be fooled though, she's a tough grader. If you put in effort, you will do well though. I definitely recommend any of Barbara's classes!

At first this class seems boring and a little lame, but stick with it, you will get so much out of it. Barbara can be tough sometimes, but in the end everyone will get a good grade. Just do the work and go to class and you will learn so much from this class.

A seriously wonderful professor. She knows everything there is to know about grammar, and can generally explain it in a way that makes sense. Her class was incredibly helpful. If you have the opportunity, take English classes from Barbara!! She rocks!

I thought this class was incredibly lame -- I don't feel like it's taught us anything about teaching high school that we didn't already know from being high school students. Many of her ideas don't seem like they would fit into most schools' mandated curriculum, and many lessons seem too juvenile for high school kids.

I took both 323 & 495 from Barbara and learned a lot. I'm currently teaching English at a high school in the Couv, and can say with confidence that I learned more in these two classes than in all of the T&L classes put together. Listen to her. She Rocks!

I love Barbara, y'all! She's so genuine and enthusiastic, and a great resource for future English teachers considering how much and how many different places she's taught. Go Barbara!

She teaches the methods courses for English teachers. She's phenomonal. She is approachable, helpful, and teaches you more than you could ever learn from a book. A great class experience.
