The course its self is not very hard. She can be very disorganized which can be difficult. She is very to the point with grading and is not open to any discussion about assignments. You will also only learn photoshop from the textbook. She does not teach the different techniques herself and you move through the course too quickly to actually learn.

There have been some program errors with the Photoshop software, but that isn't her fault! She's very experienced and helpful. She cares about what she teaches and knows a lot about photography/Photoshop. I've enjoyed the class for the most part. If you're interested in Photoshop, take it!

I loved German 301 with Professor Pflanz. She was helpful, motivational, funny, and able to accommodate for any hiccups or issues you have during the course. I loved her class and am sad to no longer have her as a teacher.

I thought the class was going to be fun and would learn many photoshop techniques. I was very wrong! Don't let the course description fool you because she does not really teach how to use photo shop. Instead you do lesson after lesson from a book. She even critiqued us on the photos we tookeven though its a PHOTOSHOP class. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Barbara is very fair. She demands a lot of the students; however she is always willing to help and will give you the benefit of the doubt if you try. She is more concerned with the information you learn from the class and how you will use it to help in you the future, as opposed to simply marking your grade. Very enthusiastic!
