The very best professor I had at OSU around 2001-2005. Brilliant mind and just an overall exceptional person. One of the greats among a sea of mediocrity. Miss ya Barb. Hope you and Kim are doing well.

Snobby and arrogant. I didn't learn much in her class except that she's in love with herself and her own ideas. Inflexible. Suggested I rewrite an A- paper, which I did, spending hours and changing everything she mentioned, and she still gave me an A-, saying, "I guess I was wrong about doing a rewrite." Has pets.

I had Dr. Rigney in 2001 and 2002. She is an amazing teacher. I use Atwood in my own classroom because of her. She really pushed my writing and my thinking.

I had her back in 1988 and adored her. I remember her classes very well. She sparked in me a life-long interest in feminist poetry and the works of Margaret Atwood. Dr. Rigney is truly a gifted professor. Don't finish your English degree without taking one of her classes.
