Shin is the biggest piece of**** teacher I have ever had im my lifetime of schooling. Does not teach anything out of the book and then gives you impossible exams from the book. You WILL fail every homework assignment you turn in, right or wrong. You will HATE every class you go to. If you miss class you will have to write a six page paper why.

SHIN...worst professor I've EVER had. He honestly doesn't teach. When I complained to the Dept. Head, I was told I should've listened to the reviews at RateMyProfessor before signing up for his class. Because he has tenure the school can't fire him. Shin elects a class president to remind him to come to class. The man dyes his hair.

One word, "Terrible." BOOOOOOOOOOO. He does not teach, and explains the sex lives of the Japanese because they have hot springs and we do not. This is interesting if you can speak Korean, and if you don't...plan on hating every class period. I did get an A, how though...is beyond me. DON'T TAKE!

This class would have been ok if he didnt put 2 exams over 6 chapters in one week. if you like exams spread out dont take him, one exam is 3 chapters and you take 2 in 1 week. he once accused our class of being ****s, and went off on all of us for making fun of his accent and other cultures. not very respectful either.

Do not take Kilman Shin. His bitter argument with the Dean El-Saidi is proving detrimental to his ability to teach (which he didn't do). He's a horrible professor, that would benefit from a class that Westernized his accent. He put stuff on the test he didn't teach! TAKE YOUR FASFA MONEY TO GVSU!!!!
