The challenges in healthcare class is informative and not challenging. She tells you exactly what you need to include in essays/assignments/projects to get full credit. She is an easy grader and gives you ONE week to finish assignments. No class during jewish holidays but expect an assignment. Very sassy but kind and helpful.

Dr. Roller and her "Challenges in Healthcare in the U.S." course are truly phenomenal and eye-opening. I have learned so much from this course and the way that the course is structured is nothing short of outstanding. A different medical professional comes in each class and lectures about some topic in the medical field (ethics, procedures, etc.)!

I truly was misled to think she was an aweful advisor. SHE IS GREAT! One of the few prof. at FIU, who HONESTLY cares about his students. She is misunderstood because of her mannerisms and ways of looking at you, but once you get to know her, you understand what a great person she really is. GREAT teacher and advisor, TOTALLY recommend her.

She is one of the best teachers i ever had, which was surprising since she is not that nice as an adviser. But as a teacher take her, she is really good and she is always there to help you out. A lot of material but it is interesting.

Very informative provides exceptional tips for preparing for ALL pre-health professional schools. She has been awarded, "Best Undergraduate Advising Award" this year, (her second time receiving the award and she has been the adviser since 2003). If you show dedication, interests, and perseverance she will see this and do her all to help you succeed.

This is a must for all of you pre health professionals, I love this lady. If she taught all of my sciences classes, I would have straight A's. She is fair, funny, smart, witty, and makes learning fun, she stimulates thought, and loves class participation. Exams are do-able, it really helped to take the class b/c it integrated all sciences!

Hardest exams!!!!!! She goes really fast, and does not really explain too well; if you do not excel in Biology, take another professor. If you do, you'll love her, she's a sweet heart!

look at aamc.org website for gpa's and mcat scores for minorities cause theyre lower than for whites, but she wont say that because she either doesnt know that or doesnt care and wants to discourage you.

Took this class Summer A 2002, it was a lot of info to cover in 7 weeks, but we all got through it. She's a nice lady, and extremely helpful & easy to get in touch with if you have a question. Tests do cover a lot, so study!
