I feel sort of bad saying this since she meant well, but I couldn't stand going to her class. This means something considering I LOVE studying the history of languages. Somehow she made class monotonous with daily group assignments and constantly staring at the ceiling. 3 exams, 20 short answer q's each. Group project. Weekly group assignments.

She knows the material like the back of her hand, so she's interesting in lecture. She's very approachable and willing to meet with students outside of class. She sets up grading so that it's not all test-based, which is nice. My only complaint is that I think she spends a bit too much time on group work.

I LOVE this lady! She is sweet, helpful, and funny. She is interesting to listen to. Her tests can be hard, but really she posts EVERYTHING you need to know on Vista. The quotes everyone is griping about really are not that difficult. She gives lots of little assignments so that a bad test grade wont kill you. TAKE HER!

This is a good professor. Even though she talks to the ceiling, she is very nice. She wants her students to do well and is very knowledgable of the subjects she teaches. She is a fair grader but the tests are pretty tough.

Wonderful teacher, whether you like the material or not you will do well as long as you do the majority of the reading and attend class. A lot of reading, but assignments are extremely easy and tests cover basically what you go over in class. Grades fairly and makes things clear. Very nice and understanding.

I didn't like this teacher, though if you're looking for a somewhat simple class, and don't mind too many overly used Jesus references that may or may not be there, she's not a bad choice. Her test were more like little quizzes about characters and themes and a few obvious passages. In our class, she had assignments which only 10 of the 12 counted.

Hardest class I have ever taken. She is nice and grades fair, but her tests are impossible. Aside from the test there isn't a lot of work to do and she never took attendance, but the tests are killer. All quotes that are not always so obvious. Good luck

She is a nice lady. She is understanding about handing in late assignments and what not. But the class is kinda hard. You cant miss class and you have to do the readings. Her tests are really really hard. It is all quote identification, sucks. Liked her as a person, not sure if I would take her again.

I was astonished to see such bad ratings for this teacher. She is one of the best English Teachers I have had at KSU. She is clear, factual, finds different approaches to add with the text. I loved her and would gladly take her again!

Maybe it was all the Old English we had to read. Maybe it was the test,they were really hard.The questions were worth 4 to 5 points,which did not allow much for error.You must go to class,thats where the extra credit comes from.I just think this teacher made this class too hard. 2 test & final.
