Comment:

I've never had a professor be this disrespectful to students. There were several times that I went to lecture and she started yelling at us for not attending lecture when we were the ones that came consistently. She treated us like we had no psych knowledge even though all of us have to. She didn't release any raw scores until the end of semester.

really not a good professor. total grade is only based off a few things, so make sure to study for exams, which are based entirely off the text. really specific test questions that were hard to comprehend. grades are never up to date. really condescending, acted like her opinion was the only correct one & talked over students during discussions

Worst professor I've ever had. This class is offered with two professors at Purdue, so if you're going to take it, take it with the other one! She's disrespectful to students, monotone, and classes were uncomfortable. Exams are purely based off reading and poorly worded. Not worth the frustration. Save yourself the headache and don't take her class

This really isn't a hard class as long as you pay attention during lecture and read the assigned readings. Her exams can be a little difficult but instead of grading out of 100, she grades out of the highest grade earned in the class. (if the highest was a 94, your exam is out of 94 instead of 100).

I thought Younger was a great prof. You need to go to class and read the required text and that makes the tests easy. There's a partner project at the end of the year that can really give you a grade boost and the final exam is NOT cumulative. She's super easy to get along with and you can tell she enjoys the subject she teaches. loved her

I really shouldn't have taken this class, as i don't really care for the subject, but that's my fault. Prof. doesn't actually grade students' work, all done by her TAs. Very few assignments, so if you do poorly on one or two you're screwed. Cancels class all the time. Test questions don't match up with what was studied/on the practice exam.

Obviously fond of what she teaches. When showing videos, you can see her actually smiling a the children. However, in terms of teaching, not the greatest. Has cancelled many times, which can be great or horrible depending on what kind of student you are. Difficult exams, very nit-picky in questioning. Can be condescending, especially one on one.

Obviously doesn't want to teach. Entire class is taught by student led discussions. She has taught 3 times and cancels class often. Tests are based on the textbook but the lectures are from students so we don't know what's going to be on the exam. Exams are surprisingly difficult for what seems to be common knowledge.

I see a lot of people complaining about how she lectures, and how her tests are hard. To be honest, as long as you read the required texts (which are not that long) and come to lectures, you will do fine in her class. I thought she was nice and easy to understand as long as you pay attention. If you have any questions, just ask her.

Easy but interesting class, although lectures can get a little dull sometimes. If you read the book and go over lecture slides you should be fine for exams, they're not too hard if you just study a bit. Professor cares about the class but lacks charisma to a certain extent, but she's not bad, just alright.

Definitely a class to take with a big course load, it's not difficult. Lectures are not mandatory (and really boring), she has participation assignments sometimes but always posts when so you can come to class. Test based on book. Not a hard class if you just read, do the two short papers, and come when needed. Shes just boring- but nice !

She absolutely does not know how to teach. She literally pulls up boring lectures she finds online so she does not have to teach and asks the class what she should do. She grades quizzes according to her own opinion instead of the correct answer in the book. When the class corrects her, says that both answers are right but hers is more right.

She made it much harder that it needed to be. Her first exam had a D average and she was disappointed but didn't even realize it was because she is a horrible lecturer. I wouldn't take a class with her again because even though her lectures are pointless you have to go during participation assignments. Read the book it will help a lot.

Just plain terrible. Very condescending; everyone avoids asking questions. Tests are confusing and overly difficult. Grading, especially on papers, is incredibly unfair. Avoid at all costs.
