my favorite professor here so far. really cares about his students and interacts with them throughout lectures. lets us use a partner on tests and the tests are pretty simple. offers extra credit too. also assigns journal prompts and theyre easy. had a 12 page paper but it was an easy topic. hes awesome and id definitely take him again!!!

Comment:

Took child development, switched from prof Butler to him. Fleet is cool and a nice man but the classes seem pointless at times and none of what you talk about in class is on the test. its like one big discussion. Eveyone failed the first test. second test was scaled 20+ points which was nice. Manageable work load but must READ and work to pass.

Dr. Fleet is the absolute man. Hilarious lectures, very easy to follow, and an excellent communicator. If you build a good relationship with him there is no reason why you should get anything less than an A-. 3 exams and a 12-page research paper. Wouldn't hurt to skim the readings and PowerPoints beforehand too. Study the vocab for the exams!

Genuinely a really nice guy and passionate about the subject. Lectures are long but he relates them to personal/everyday experiences. Only 2 tests, both scaled....A LOT. Also assigns a 15 page paper but easy grader if you put in the work. Book is not necessary but used it for the tests and helped a ton so I suggest buying it. Easy to get an A .

Bary is a great guy. I had him for abnormal psychology and he's never taught it before, so it's hard to judge his teaching style for a class he's never taught before. You have to read the textbook a lot to succeed in the class. I can see him making an excellent intro teacher. Not the best teacher I've had, but he's still excellent.

Professor Fleet is pretty awesome! Not much work to do, only one journal a week and a 14 page research paper that you basically have the whole semester to do. His tests are all multiple choice so they are very easy if you study a little bit.

Love this teacher. Was always interesting in psychology, it is one of my majors. He made it even more enjoyable in addition to this interest. Class is always full of good discussion and his great stories. Also uses videos and good activities to support his lectures that makes them more memorable. Love this professor.

classes are mostly made up of group discussion on psychology topics. Professor Fleet is congenial and fun; encourages openness of own selves. Exams were difficult, but he was fair in grading. Two papers really allowed chance to bring grade up. Great guy, great class that I enjoyed going to and participating in

Professor fleet is a great teacher!!! He entertains you with his stories and gives no homework. Tests are hard but if you study the chapters assigned then you will do fine because he scales them like 20 pts every time. This year he only gave out two 5 page papers instead of one 12 page paper so that was good. Overall his class was very enjoyable.

Awesome teacher. Definitely recommend this class, very interesting, and despite the fact that it is truly impossible to get a good raw score on the tests, he scales by so much every time that its easy to get a good grade. One of few classes I actually enjoyed going to.

Fleet is an awesome professor in every way, and if you read the book both along with the lessons AND before the test, it will be hard to get below an 85 on his hard exams, thanks to the scale. His class is ALWAYS interesting, and it never felt like a chore to go to, ever. His attendance policy is lenient, but there is no reason to skip class.

Awesome Teacher! makes class interesting and tries to keep his students involved in class. Study for the tests and make the cheat sheet and you will be fine. There is a 12-15 page paper. i did it the day before it was due and mine was only 12 pages and i managed an A-... Unbelievable i thought, just make sure to pick a good topic. Take this Man!!!!

Very nice guy. Take good notes and you'll do fine. His tests are hard, but he does curve them. One major paper, but its really not so bad. My Favorite professor so far at Bryant! Take Dr. Fleet and you wont regret it!
