Comment:

I love Barry. He classes were the best I had. But his awesomeness doesn't end at the classroom door, it doesn't even end at graduation, Professor Tadlock has written me so many references and emailed me to see if he can help my career in any way. He's been a huge supporter to me and to several other classmates I know. One of the best people ever.

Comment:

One of the sweetest professors I have ever had. He is really funny, intelligent, and is fair with deadlines and assignments. You have to read a lot, but his lectures are laid-back, just like he is. He is super accessible and kind, and is always willing to answer a question. One of the only Pols profs. that I feel holds a bias-less discussion.

So passionate and intelligent. Had answers to all my questions. Only problem is he counts participation so if youre shy it can effect your grade unless you go talk to him. Exams are online so it's easy to get good grades. Homework over the reading for every class. One research project in the middle of the semester. Enjoyed the class

Lots of discussion in this class. Exams are very easy. Participation does matter, but attendance isn't mandatory so basically you have to show up to get a good participation grade. He's a nice, awkward man. There was one easy project and you get to choose your topic.

I love Professor Tadlock! He is really down to earth, and you can tell he cares about his students. He is a really intelligent person too, and that really comes through in his lectures, but he does like to hear our thoughts on things too. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's less work to just go.

Dr. Tadlock is also my advisor, and I really like him. Very personable, and very easy class. Just participate and two take-home exams (midterm and final), equals out to a very easy A. That said, his lectures are very boring and dry and difficult to focus... but he's very nice and considerate.

Don't get me wrong, professor Tadlock is a good with his students. He will work with you, he will be kind to you, and very unaggressive in his teaching style. Still, most boring lectures I've ever been to. Constantly pauses in his lectures to "regroup". You will only write down 15% of what he says. Uses the books and presentations too much.

Dr. Tadlock is my all-time favorite professor! He has a sense of humor and he is very knowledgeable. At the same time, he is very interested in your opinion as a student. Every exam I had in the few classes I have taken with him were take-home exams. I would highly recommend him.

Professor Tadlock is an amazing teacher. He does not just flip through slides, rather types up the notes with you so you know EXACTLY what you need. He teaches alongside the textbook but reading ahead of time gives you a leg up. He will meet with you and read your papers ahead of time to guarantee you an A. Such a great guy! Does give pop-quizes.

Really knowledgable and knows what he's talking about. Open minded and allows for (encourages) in-class discussion. Attendance isn't mandatory and notes are online but going to class definitely helps. Tests are tricky, but he's always willing to help and schedule a time to meet with you. Tadlock is truly an awesome teacher. I had him for pols 101 and my learning community. He is extremely smart and expects a lot from his students in a good way. Buy the online version of the book and there is a cool search feature to help you find things easier!

He has been one of my fav teacher's so far. He class is a little hard, but he is very helpful. He has a good level of teaching and discussion. The study guide was helpful, especially with the extended response. I really recommend him!!
