Regardless of what the others say, Barry Thompson was the best professor I've ever had. He tells amazing stories and keeps the material organized so that it is easier to teach to students. He encouraged us and recognized us in a humanistic way. I finished his final in under 10 minutes, but I have no complaints. I recommend him highly!

Bad bad Barry is Mr Random!! He has fantastic stories and has survived it all but his teaching leaves me wondering if I gained much from the experience. Easy A but I honestly want to be challenged by my pedagogy classes

There is nothing hot about this man. He is a pretty nice professor but outside of class I wouldn't have any dealings with him. When you're in the education department you don't have a lot of variety as to what professors to take so unfortunately you're stuck with him

Dr. Thompson rocks. He is fun, interesting, knowledgable and personable. He has high expectations and that is great. He does grade like an English prof and that is also great. He gave many helpful hints on writing better, which we need for our future jobs as teachers!

Interesting lectures, with lots of hands-on experiments. His syllabus is vague on specifics for written papers, so write them as if he were an English professor, because that is how he grades.
