One of the best I had at KU. Very willing to help and even offered me a course while on a non-teaching term. I had him for 420, 521, 600, and 622. He knows a lot and is able to explain complex math well.

Comment:

Fluids was awesome with Ramadan. He explains everything very well, he makes you feel like you actually understand the class. Occasionally does boring proofs, but summarizes at the end what you do and dont need to know for the test. He also brings in real world examples and can explain when you'll use things. Highly recommend.

Had him for Heat Transfer; he's a really nice guy, and a good prof overall. Does plenty of examples and tries to keep the class on track so nobody is left behind. Very helpful office hours. I'd highly recommend. I have a solid understanding of the material now. Actually took him as my thesis advisor after taking him since he was so helpful

Had him twice, thermo & fluids. Should have learned my lesson the 1st time. Good prof, just not for me. You think you know the material front to back before an exam but the questions are all a little tricky. I didn't have time to put in the needed effort & xtra time to get a better grade...but did OK. You'll learn the stuff though, no doubt.

Dr. Ramadan is very good at handling the subject and at selecting homework problems which illustrate the finer points. Much of the course relies on setting up and solving differential equations, which can be taxing on a person with a short attention span.

Great teacher. Explains everything well. Tests are taken straight from examples given in the notes. He holds study sessions before every test and the final. Only a few homework assignments and they were short and easy. Final project was a piece of cake.
