Professor Jones is very passionate about her work but I did not learn a single thing in her class all year. Also grades hard on the group project. She made a final from scratch with some material that was not covered or even in the textbook and students did not do well but she only managed to curve it 5%.

Dr. jones is an amazing person. she is very caring and knowledgeable. one thing i would say about BIS is that most of your grade is done outside of class through the learnsmart and in class, we just do the project, so i really dont think it matters who you take. just redo the learnsmarts to study for the quizzes, and stay on top of the project

This class mostly is centered around a semester long project. She dedicates most class time for you to work on the project. Never lectures for more than 10 minutes. Gives lots of feedback and helps whenever you ask. Sweet lady.

You will have to work hard to get an A, but it is manageable. The group project can be intense, but she gives CLEAR instructions, so as long as you do what you're told, you will be fine (be sure to do it in chunks). She brought in awesome speakers, and I learned valuable skills in her class. Dr. Jones is great because she has high expectations.

This entire class is a group project, so Mrs. Jones doesn't lecture much. She is super nice and helpful if you come to her with questions. She grades the project and presentation pretty tough, and the quizzes are not the easiest thing. You have to read and keep up with the work to get an A.

She is absolutely one of- if not the- best teachers in the school. She is passionate about her work and will get into interesting conversations in class. The class is totally dependent on the group you get, because you can get stuck with a reasonable amount, or an insane amount of work. The class requires a lot of outside work but its worth it.

I took Jones for Programming and if you're a BIS major you'll have to take her either way. But she's an amazing professor and if you put in the work she will go above and beyond to help you. Class is not easy, but with hard work an A is possible. LOVED her class!

Dr. Jones is awesome. I agree that her class is not easy but she DOES give you plenty of extra credit opportunities in order to help your grade. The tests are purely from the books and the project is difficult but they are all doable. Try hard and an A is pretty much guaranteed.

Dr. Jones is a really nice person. She loves teaching and you can tell it's her passion. That being said, she doesn't really know what she's teaching and isn't qualified for her position. She always expects more and doesn't understand that her class isn't the only one you will have. If you're reading this, you probably have to take her. Good luck.

Very polite, very HARD; to understand,make an A, be even remotely interested in the class. Her quizzes are impossible, answer true on every one and you'll always get 3/5. Her tests are ridiculous as well. Only thing that got me through class without losing my sanity was playing "Curveball"

Very nice lady, extremely energetic, eager to help. However, HARD CLASS, you must be prepared to read everything & study hard. Very time intensive class, & make sure you're with some hardworking people for the group project. Fairly tough grader, make sure you talk to her a lot so she can help you.

Very nice teacher. She is helpful. Willing to help students to finish their assignments. Have to work very hard to get an A because there are many tests . Read every chapters of textbook then you should be fine. Access and Dreamweaver are useful application. Love her class a lot.
