Was my first biology class in two years, but she made it so interesting and was so knowledgeable that it was easy to learn! Her class is fun, she is a genius, but explains things so you can understand them! She provides many options for help outside of class so it helps!

WONDERFUL PROF!! she's energetic, her lectures are interesting, and she knows tons about the subject. She really wants you to succeed, but the class isn't a breeze she wants you to work hard too. I looked forward to her classes, they were great. I would recommend anything she's teaching.

Houck is an amazing, enthusiastic professor.... she rocks!!! Take a science class from her for sure. You will learn a ton and be able to pay attention in lecture. Her tests are pretty straightforward, but she definitely holds you accountable for all the information taught in class. She rocks though!!

Excellent class, learned alot about embryology. For exams be sure to go over previous exams, alot of questionsa are taken from them. Classes are on powerpoint and very detailed. Don't have to take note if you don't want to cuz you can reference everything you need to know for the powerpoint or book.
