Comment:

Becky is the most accessible, genuine professor I've ever had. She loves each of her students individually and strives for them to do their best, both in school and in life. She's like a second mother to me. You can talk to her about anything, and she will always be kind and understanding. She is a great teacher and a great friend.

Becky is AWFUL. The first time you have her, you're amused because she's silly and fun in a beginner class that doesn't matter. But when it gets to class that do matter, she tells the same stories and jokes over again. As a director, she is cruel, giving vague directions and getting angry when you don't get it right. She has made students cry

Becky is a hard grader, but is respectful of students and their time. She is organised (something not common in a theatre professor) and cares about her students. Outside of class she is awesome. In class, she can be boring and a hard person to please. As a director, she is somewhat unclear, and doesn't like to show you what she wants.

The kind of professor that gives academics a bad name. Teaches acting & directing, but has no meaningful experience acting or directing in the professional world. Over-intellectualizes to an absurd degree. Full of fun anecdotes and factoids about theatre history... all of which Google disproves. Popular only among people who don't know better.

I verymuch enjoyed Becky's teaching style and her interest in how much material we soak in. The performing of the scenes written in class was a brilliant idea. That was the best time I had in that class.When I take another theatre course, I'll know what proffesor to take it with. Awesome job Dr. P
