IF YOU READ THE BOOK BEFORE CLASS AND TAKE NOTES, YOU WILL GET AN A. Coming to class and reading the power points will not be enough to do well. Similar to math, you must really build a strong foundation in the early chapters in order to make the later chapters less difficult. Many concepts from ch. 1 resurfaced in ch. 11. Sweet lady!

Simply put, she is the worst professor I think I have ever had, never teaches the class and just makes students explain concepts we don't know about. Her exams are the worst and her overall attitude to how she runs the class is horrible. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES!

Working with her after class was the only thing that saved me. She is not the best at teaching concepts effectively, and while she puts on a tough front, she really does want her students to succeed. It would benefit any student to get to know her, and have her get to know you. She is much more forgiving when she knows you are making an effort.

She cares about the students but is inflexible on hw due dates. HW take quite a bit of time and you really need to read the book in order to grasp the concepts. Exams are very hard but she does give pointers on what topics to focus on. She wants all of her students to pass, but acknowledges that it is very difficult to get an A in her class.

Dr Quigley is such a nice lady and a good professor. She does have unfair expectations though. I had to study a lot for this class and still got a C. The test is hard. If you're an accounting major you should be fine, but for someone who has never taken accounting before this may be a challenge.

Literally the worst class I have ever taken. She teaches absolutely nothing in class and holds class once a week. She is super confusing and rude and not helpful at all.

While knowledgable of accounting she is just not a teacher. Be ready to teach yourself accounting as you will learn nothing in class. Major waste of time spent in class working on HW with classmates. She sits there for up to an hour and a half on her phone or browsing online while you do this.

She is a really nice woman but her teaching really is awful. She isn't clear at all and her exams are terribly hard. She also won't let you in her office hours unless you have "specific" questions. She's a weird professor for sure. I would just stay away if you want an A! Take someone else.

Dr. Quigley is nice and seems to care for her students but she is a horrible professor. We all basically taught each other. She only taught 1 lesson and was very confusing. This entrepreneurship class is suppose to be easy but she made it so difficult. The final included a lot of accounting questions (a course I have never taken before).

Dr. Quigley is a very nice lady, but she is horrible at teaching. She only taught us a lesson once and gave us too much information wout making sure if we understood. Each student had to create a ppt and teach the class. This is an entrepreneurship class yet the final had many accounting questions which is a subject I have not taken before.

Goes on tangents unrelated to accounting. Cannot answer questions and asks students to help explain it better. Won't go over tests so she can reuse them, you must sit with her as she fumbles to explain right answers. Assignments due at the end of the semester so final grade is mystery - you'll only know midterm grade. Have fun teaching yourself.

Dr. Quigley is the best accounting professor you can find. She explains all the concepts to easiest level possible for all the students in MBA program with different background. Her real life examples eases the concepts. If you print all the slides, review them before each class, do all the assigned homework you should be golden in this class. BEST

She is very humble and warm hearted. She doesn't teach or use the text ookas much as she claims to do. Also side note, she doesn't come to class on exam dates.
