I absolutely adore Professor Joffroy. Extremely excited about the subject-matter, cosntantly pushing the boundaries of your analyzing and critical thinking and a truly, truly intellectually sharp human being who is not pretentious about it AT ALL.

She's a really engaged and interesting professor who cared a lot about the subject matter of the class (Zapatismo). I think a lot of the issues in the class had to do more with students not being able to match that passion. Was very accessible and willing to communicate about issues. Did assign one random written work that was not on syllabus.

i took her last year for borderlands and i loved her! she was really excited about the topic and the discussions would've been better if the students were as excited.... i swear the discussions seemed more like a conversation between her me and this other girl in my class, but overall good class!!!

Michelle Joffroy is one of the few professors that really cares about your education. She is extremely kind, always available, and very flexible. It pains me that this needs to be said but, obviously, you must do your work! The class material is only the beginning. She can serve as a guide but you must experience the journey. She's AWESOME!!!!!

This is one of my most boring classes this semester. Joffrey is really sweet, but she doesn't know how to build energy or keep a class engaged in discussion. It is the quietest class ever, and most of the time she just lectures. She's knowleagable but not a fascinating lecturer.
