Comment:

He is a good professor. He grades you by how much you understand and not if you got the problem right. You can make every problem wrong on a quiz but still make half credit. Very helpful. Only problem I had with him was sometimes his accent was hard to understand. But he will repeat himself if you ask.

Prof. Jalali is a very smart man. He is one of those professors that is, honestly, tough on you because he wants you to really LEARN. He's not easy, expects you to have studied a lot before coming to class, but will teach you many ways to look at math that you never had though of before. I HATE math but actually found it enjoyable with Dr. J.!!

My friends and I often try to find him and he is never ever in his office. He is often missing in action, his classes are 98% of the time covered by a grad student.Does he even work at AU since no one ever seems to know where to find him.

Great professor, his methods of teaching are easy to understand. The content overall is very easy. He gives weekly quizzes that are very simple. He gives a lot of personal attention, he's a nice guy overall and it's really easy to do well in his class.

I have never seen Professor Jalali even though I took his class. He had a TA teach the class. The TA was fine, but Professor Jalali himself was non existent.

I have yet to meet this professor. And I have been in the class all semester. All of the homework is done online and tests are given by a TA. None of the homework is explained and it takes about 6 hours to do it. I would not recommend this teacher, maybe if he wasn't so lazy and showed up for class once, I would be able to give you a real evaluatio
