In reference to that comment below, in which that person suggests that Dr. Lowe plays favorites when he grades - well, we know what kind of grade you got! Instead of blaming your teacher, how about atually studying and earning a decent grade yourself. Dr. Lowe is more than fair, and if you got a bad grade, it's because you earned it.

Dr. Lowe is probably my most favorite professor of all time! I first had his class 2 years ago and have taken a class from him every term since. He is my advisor and is so helpful, if you have a chance to take a class from him do it!

I have very munch enjoyed Dr. Lowe, it's the other history students too look out for, they tend to distract him easily. His tests are fine if you study for them but his papers are killer! I loved being in his class's.

Very entertaining teacher, very knowledgeable. Tends to ramble, very politically biased (and interjects political jabs throughout the class). Tough grader, doesn't give enough (yes, enough) homework to figure out his grading style. Quizzes are hellish. Other than that, fun class.
