I absolutely loved Professor Walker. It is true he goes on tangents, but they are always hilarious! His class is pretty easy without too much work, you just have to do the reading for the tests (but its totally doable.) I recommend him highly--a professor you have to get to know before you graduate!!

Walker is a really nice guy, but not necessarily the greatest prof. Goes off on tangents and tests can be REALLY hard- even if you study like crazy. The class is pure memorization- almost no application. Don't take this class if you really want to learn about psych or if you want an easy A.

great guy, goes on tangents for most of lecture that are funny and interesting, but don't prepare you for the difficult, nit-picky tests in the slightest. if you are naturally good at science/psychology go for it, but if not just talk to him outside of the classroom and leave this class to the psych majors

Walker is a nice guy. Sometimes he can be a little confusing (esp. since he sucks at drawing) but is very enthusiastic and always provides little anecdotes to help you remember. His tests and quizzes are a little hard but if you write a lot you're bound to get to whatever he's looking for. All around it's a fun class even if I didn't learn a lot

This class is a bit deceiving. The lectures are boring and dull, but the tests are ridiculously hard. I would recommend to bring a laptop to the class so you can surf the web, because there aren't many slides to copy down.

The lectures can be pretty boring. He tells a lot of jokes and can ramble for long periods of time. The tests are tough, but are largely based on information from the textbook. You can probably get away with never coming to class as long as you memorize everything in the text.

His tests vary, he tends to put really random things on them. If you don't go to class and take good notes you are screwed. He rambles a lot which sometimes makes class amusing, but can also get really annoying. Our TA was awesome though, go Ted!

prof walker is the BEST. hes hilarious...really into the subject matter that he is teaching. not necessarily easy, but if you do the work (which entails a lot of reading), then you'll do fine on tests and quizzes. you can also argue your grades...pretty lenient. he wants people to do well.

I took a class with him on the senses. Dry subject, and it became clear he's a better researcher than lecturer. Would get nervous, and was kind of confusing. However, nice affable guy.

His tests were sometimes ok, othertimes difficult and hard to understand. Pretty funny guy, still sometimes it would have been better if he just stayed on topic, the endless jokes got frustrating especially when we were supposed to be preparing for tests. Overall, an ok, and only ok class.
