Surveying is an easy class made even easier by Buda's thorough explanations. That being said, he can be long-winded and goes through material very slowly. You can definitely get by with missing multiple classes and pass exams without much studying.

He let me re take quizzes to get my quiz average up and offered me a chance to redo the midterm as well! Go to his office hours and he will help you! He is there and willing to help you if you want the help! He is a very nice guy!!!

6 Open notes tests and 5 homeworks (projects) makes for an easy A. All you have to do is go to class and fill in your notes. He is the nicest professor and always helpful when you're confused.

Great teacher. Yes his classes tend to get boring with his endless pages of notes. In route construction, he doesn't use a book, basically gives you a textbook worth of notes. However, tests and projects are easy as they are right out of the notes. Projects take time, but are in depth and useful.

He is a great teacher, extremely willing to help and he knows his stuff. Will try and trick you on online quizzes so take your time. Highly recommend him for both SU2000 and SU2050 (civil professional elective)

Paul is a great guy and will help you out when you're in a bind. He is boring in large lectures such as SU2000 but is great in a small classroom setting. A lot of time to commit with 18 homeworks, 6 exams including a final and 6 hours of lab a week.

Paul is the best professor at Michigan Tech. He has a passion for what he teaches and can actually teach. Provides print off handouts which is a really nice. Have to commit time to this class. 5 exams, 5 projects and a final. If you're interested in road design, take this class. Work hard, pay attention in class, easy A

Excellent class and highly recommended for all civils even though not required. Have to commit some time with 6 exams and five projects. Some exams may take two and a half hours and projects are sometimes lengthy but don't let that deter u. Show up, fill in blanks on handouts, do projects with a group, do review problems prior to exams. Easy A

Buda Is a great guy, and is willing to work with you if you have questions. Take his route/constructions survey course, He will teach you everything you should have learned in the intro to transporation engineering course. It is worth your time if you are planning on going into transportation engineering or surveying.

Really gets in to what he's teaching and tends to overexplain things, which isn't a bad quality. Tests are written right off of WebCT quizzes and labs are straight-forward. Nice guy. His lectures are good opportunities to catch up on sleep.
