Ben cares about his students and takes time to make personal connections. Pay attention in class, the exam has MC, term matching, short essay, and case analysis sections and is very difficult. It is a lot of reading for a 2 unit course. There is 1 individual in-class presentation, 1 group, and 2 virtual presentations online.

#1 I REGRET FROM THIS CLASS! PLEASE READ! He does not post the power points on Cougar Courses. This will make it extremely hard for the exam. The exam has MC, Term Matching, Short Essay, and Case Analysis sections. TAKE A LOT OF NOTES! DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE PHOTOS OF HIS SLIDES DURING LECTURE. I SWEAR IT WILL HELP! UGH.

AMAZING PROFESSOR OMG! He's truly inspiration. I'm not even an ENTR major and I recommend him. He inspired me to take his summer abroad study program. Even if youre not an ENTR major, your able to apply his lectures to your own life. His class is really exciting and engaging. Truly the only professor I enjoyed learning from at CSUSM! Many projects

Ben Cherry is the kind of professor you remember years from now because he connects with all his students. He teaches entrepreneurship classes in a meaningful way, and he gives purpose to his students. His lectures are useful, and the projects/ assignments are reasonable and make you think outside the box (both group and individual projects).

He takes a long time to grade assignments. Instructions for exam prep and homework assignments tend to be vague. Not tech-savvy. His computer system shut down during a student's live powerpoint presentation.

Professor Cherry is the best! Second semester having him and he is always there for you and understanding about anything. He has respect from the students and always has different ways for us to understand the material. Always looked forward to his class. One group project with 3 parts, individual presentations, few exams, thinking and forum tasks

Professor Cherry is amazing! Super nice, funny, and gives great feedback. As long as you participate the whole time, you will have an A easily. I would recommend taking pictures of his PowerPoint lecture slides, as well as take notes during lecture. It helps tremendously. If you have any questions about the material in class, don't hesitate to ask.

Professor Cherry is great. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a professor that cares about his students and wants you to do the best you can. He also is familiar with the real world and how all subject matter will relate to the business world as a whole. I'm so glad that I'm taking another class with him next semester.

Probably one of the best teachers I have taken at CSUSM! This was my second semester taking him. Class is so interesting with him because he knows so much. Very passionate about what he does. The class is fun, you present your ideas, do improv, and have only one midterm which is difficult if you don't take notes or read the book. Take him!!

As a graduated student over 2 years out of college, I can surprisingly say Ben's class is the most useful and memorable. I've run across situations in the small, young company I work for (it's been around for 2 1/2 years) and think back of lessons taught by Ben. Great class, extremely useful, fantastic and caring teacher. You want this class!

Fun class, fun teacher, easy "B" grade. only 1 test, a few small quizzes, participation points, and 5 or so presentations that were easy. I am not one to participate in class, but the setting he lays out makes it easy for everyone. Great guy, down to earth, kind, approachable. It was ACTUALLY fun. Not a demanding class.

Class was fun, attendance not mandatory, but you might miss out on exam hints. 3 Exams- M/C and 3 short answer. 2 projects- seems easy but grades strictly so beware of grammer and presentation skills. One of the best classes I ever took and the nicest teacher ever!!
